AMENDMENTS TO THE LABOR CODE OF THE REPUBLIC OF LITHUANIA CAME INTO EFFECT ON JULY 1, 2020, AND AUGUST 1, 2020

As of July 1, 2020, and August 1, 2020, amendments to the Labor Code of the Republic of Lithuania took effect. These amendments pertain to requirements for temporary employment companies, employment under fixed-term contracts, termination of contracts for pregnant employees or those raising children under 3 years of age, among other issues.
