TENANTS ARE NOW ELIGIBLE TO CLAIM GOVERNMENT RENT COMPENSATION DUE TO COVID-19

On May 3, 2020, the Minister of Economy and Innovation issued an order approving the implementation details of the partial rent compensation measure. This compensation is available to companies and entrepreneurs whose activities were or are still prohibited during the quarantine period. Tenants can receive up to 50 percent rent compensation if the landlord agrees to reduce the rent by at least 30 percent. The distribution of business subsidies will be managed through UAB “Investicijų ir verslo garantijos” (INVEGA).
