We are happy to announce that the European Law Institute (ELI) has established the Baltic Hub and elected our founding partner, Dr. Laurynas Didžiulis as a Co-Chair, representing the Lithuanian jurisdiction.

The Hub will primarily focus on two main areas: first, contributing to the overall development of European law; and second, highlighting the common features of the Baltic States’ legal systems, which share similar socio-economic conditions and modern history, within the broader European context.

ELI is an independent, democratic, membership-based organization focused on European legal development in a global context. ELI’s works have influenced that of the European legislature as well as laws at national and international level, therefore impacting the lives of millions in Europe and beyond.

We wish Dr. Laurynas Didžiulis the best of luck in his new endeavours as a co-chair of the ELI Baltic Hub. We are confident that his expertise in the field of law and great leadership skills will foster greater collaboration and innovation within the legal community, both regionally and across Europe.
