From November 26-27, the Estonian University of Tartu, in collaboration with the Estonian Science Council, organized the international scientific conference online titled “Digital Consumer Contract Law and New Technologies.” The conference delved into discussions on the new Digital Content and Usage Purchase and Sale Directives, covering areas such as information technology, intellectual property, artificial intelligence, smart contracts, LegalTech, and other aspects of digitization.

Among the participants was Associate Professor of the Private Law Department of the Faculty of Law of Vilnius University and partner at the CONFIDENCE Law Office, Lawyer Dr. Laurynas Didžiulis. He presented a report on the 2019 implementation of the adopted Digital Content Directive in Lithuanian contract law.
